This weekend I started working on a story about a local 11-year-old boy that is racing nationally. While I was with him at a swim meet I saw this. The other images are from the Buchanan Bicentennial Picnic. The Botetourt View called and wanted me to shoot the assignment for freelance. I got there and it was a very very small event. The editor wanted at least 12 images, which was tough. It was also the first time I was specifically asked to get posed group images. It took a lot for me to do it, but I got it done.
