Ryan Stone is an editorial photographer based in Roanoke, Virginia. He currently does a mix of editorial and portrait work. His clients include the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and Roanoke Times.
He started shooting in high school and eventually migrated to Western Kentucky University to study photojournalism. After graduating he moved to Roanoke, Va. with his girlfriend Rebecca Barnett, a photographer & staffer at the Roanoke Times. In his free time he cycles and drinks coffee with 2 teaspoons of sugar. When he’s not cycling, drinking coffee, working or spending time with Becca, he can be found pestering his two cats.
